Terms of Service
These terms apply to Flatma, the browser workshop for designing furniture and other things, on flatma.com and on company sites at flatma.pro (“Flatma”, “we”). Flatma is run by LLP Aivitu Project, Republic of Kazakhstan. By creating an account, publishing a project or paying, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.
1. Your account
You need an account to save projects and use the AI designer, and you must be at least 16. Give an email address that is yours and keep your password safe; you’re responsible for what happens in your account. One person — one account, unless your plan says otherwise.
2. Plans
The Free plan keeps one project in your account, and that project is public (see section 6). Paid plans keep more projects, keep them private, and keep more versions of each project. If you move to a smaller plan, nothing is deleted: projects over the new limit stay viewable and editable, but changes to them are kept only in your browser until you upgrade or free a place.
3. Payments
Prices of plans, AI tokens and a place in the catalog of makers are on the Plans page, in your currency where we can. A plan is paid for a month or a year in advance, with a one-time payment: it doesn’t renew by itself, and when it ends your account moves to the Free plan. Payments are processed by PayPro Global or Robokassa; their terms apply to the payment itself, and taxes may be added at checkout depending on your country.
AI tokens: a plan gives tokens every month, and what is left at the end of the month doesn’t carry over. Tokens you buy in packs don’t expire. If the AI designer fails to answer a question, the token comes back by itself.
4. Refunds
Within 14 days of a payment you can ask for a full refund if you haven’t used what you paid for: no AI tokens from it spent and no paid features of the plan used (private projects, variants, project files, your own parts and the like). Write to [email protected] from the email of your account. The money goes back the way you paid, and what you bought is taken back. After 14 days, or once you have used the purchase, payments aren’t refunded, except where the law requires it. Nothing here limits the rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
5. Your projects belong to you
You keep all rights to the projects you make in Flatma. To run the service we store your projects, make copies for version history and backups, and render previews of them.
6. Public projects
A project is public when you publish it. On the Free plan saving a project to your account is publishing it. When a project is public:
- it gets a public page; after a review it may appear in Flatma community, where others find it;
- anyone may view it, copy it into their own projects, change it and use it, including commercially, as long as they credit you as the author — under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence (CC BY 4.0);
- you also give Flatma a free, non-exclusive, worldwide permission to show the project, its name, description, cover and renders on the site, in newsletters, on social media and in advertising, with credit to you as the author;
- you can stop publishing (on a paid plan) or delete the project at any time. Its public page then disappears, but copies others have already made, and posts or materials made before, stay as they are.
The name you choose as the author is shown with your public projects. Your email address is never shown.
7. What you publish
Publish only what you have the right to publish: your own designs or designs you may share. Don’t put personal information in names, descriptions or room plans — no addresses, phone numbers or other people’s names. Don’t publish anything unlawful, hateful or misleading. We may hide or remove any project from public view or from Flatma community, and close accounts that break these terms. Report a problem with a public project at [email protected].
8. Companies
A company account runs a company site, a price list, offers and a CRM, and can be listed in the catalog of makers. You are responsible for what your company publishes and for the data of your clients you keep in Flatma: you decide what you collect and why, and you need a lawful reason for it. We store and process this data only to run the service for you, keep it confidential and delete it when you delete it or the company.
The AI on your company site is paid from the company’s AI balance. The balance is in US dollars, doesn’t expire and isn’t paid back as money.
9. Designs and safety
Flatma helps you design and calculates sizes, cutting maps, hardware and drawings, but it can make mistakes, and so can the AI designer. Check every size, material and fixing before you build, and follow the instructions of the hardware makers. Projects of other people come as they are. You build at your own risk.
10. The AI designer
The AI designer sends your request and a description of your model to an AI provider to get an answer (see the Privacy Policy). Its answers may be wrong. AI requests use AI tokens; tokens that were paid for aren’t refunded once used.
11. What you may not do
Don’t use Flatma to break the law or other people’s rights. Don’t try to get around the limits of plans or the protection of the service, don’t overload it with automated requests, and don’t copy the catalog or other people’s projects in bulk. Don’t pretend to be someone else or to be connected with Flatma. The code, design and catalog of Flatma belong to us; you may use them inside Flatma as these terms allow.
12. Blocking and deleting
We may hide content, or suspend or delete an account or a company site, that breaks these terms or the law, or when the authorities lawfully require it. Unless it is urgent, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. You can delete your account at any time by writing to [email protected]; paid time that is left isn’t refunded, except as section 4 says.
13. The service
We work to keep Flatma available and your projects safe, with version history and backups, but we can’t promise the service will never be interrupted. As far as the law allows, Flatma isn’t liable for indirect losses or lost profits, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan. If something goes wrong, write to us first at [email protected] — we answer within 30 days. If we can’t agree, the dispute goes to the court at our location. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may go to its courts.
15. Changes
We may change these terms. If the change matters, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect, and the date of the version above changes. Publishing a project or paying after that means you accept the new version. These terms are written in English and Russian; if the two versions differ, the Russian version applies.
