Construction Features

The load-bearing frame uses 1.5 x 3.5 in (38 x 89 mm) lumber with a central spine; cross members are spaced about 10 in (250 mm). Slats are 0.75 x 2.75 in (19 x 70 mm) with roughly 2.5 in (64 mm) gaps. A headboard panel in 0.75 in (18 mm) plywood can be integrated or wall-mounted. Typical clearances and spacing can be adjusted as required.
