Disclaimer of Liability

Version 2026-11-07

Flatma documentation may contain errors. You must check it before you use it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flatma is not liable for any errors in your project or its documentation.

This Disclaimer applies to Flatma on flatma.com and on company sites at flatma.pro (“Flatma”, “we”). It supplements the Terms of Service; if they differ on the matters below, this Disclaimer applies. You accept it by ticking the box in the download window and by using the Output in any other way. If you do not accept it, do not download or use the Output.

1. What this covers

“Output” means everything Flatma produces or shows for a project: 3D models, sizes and calculations, specifications and parts lists, cutting maps, drawings, CNC files, STL and OBJ files, part labels and QR codes, project videos, assembly instructions, quantities of materials and hardware, price estimates and offers, answers of the AI designer, catalog models and projects of other people.

2. The Output may contain errors

The Output is generated automatically by software, including artificial intelligence, from the data entered in the project. It may contain errors, omissions and inaccuracies, including wrong sizes, hole positions, quantities, materials, edge banding, fixings and assembly steps. Documents may differ from the 3D model and from one another, and may change when the software is updated. The Output is not engineering, structural, safety or other professional advice, and it is not a certified design.

3. You must check the Output

Before you cut, drill, order, make, assemble, install, sell or hand over anything, you must, yourself or through a qualified person:

We do not check projects. Review for publication in Flatma community is not a check of accuracy, strength or safety. Responsibility for these checks, and for the decision to use the Output, is entirely yours.

4. No warranties

The Output and the service are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we give no warranties or guarantees of any kind, express or implied, including of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, suitability for manufacture, strength, safety, compliance with standards or non-infringement of the rights of others.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our owners, employees, contractors and partners are not liable for any errors in your project or in the Output, or for any loss or damage arising from the Output, from its use or from being unable to use it. This includes spoiled materials, machine and labour costs, rework, delays, lost profit, lost contracts or business, damage to property, and claims by your clients or other third parties, whether the claim is based on contract, tort or any other ground, and even if we were told that such loss was possible.

If we are nevertheless held liable, our total liability for all claims is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim, as section 13 of the Terms of Service says.

6. Your use and other people

You make, sell and install at your own risk. If you use Flatma for business, you alone are responsible to your clients for what you design, offer, make and install, whether or not the Output was correct. If you pass the Output to a client, a maker or anyone else, you remain responsible for checking it and must tell them about this Disclaimer. They get no rights against us from the Output.

7. Compensation

If you use Flatma for business, you will compensate us for losses and reasonable legal costs arising from any claim by a third party connected with your project, your products or your use of the Output, except to the extent that the claim was caused by our intent or gross negligence.

8. What this does not limit

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory law, such as liability for intentional harm where the law does not allow it, or the rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country. If any part of this Disclaimer is found invalid, it applies to the greatest extent the law allows and the rest stays in force.

9. Your confirmation

By ticking the box you confirm that you have read and understood this Disclaimer, that you accept it voluntarily, and that you have the authority to accept it for any company or person you act for. Ticking the box is your electronic confirmation and has the same effect as a signature where the law allows. Your acceptance applies to that download and to all later use of the downloaded Output.

10. Changes

We may change this Disclaimer. The version shown at the time of a download applies to that download. The date of the current version is at the top of this page.

11. Language, law and disputes

This Disclaimer is published in several languages for convenience; if the versions differ, the Russian version applies. The law that governs it and the way disputes are resolved are set out in section 14 of the Terms of Service.
