Studiodesk rack and monitor assembly

This assembly is designed for use with a desk that is 73.5 cm high(IKEA ALEX with wood tabletop) and is intended to be placed behind the desk. If the measurements are correct, the design allows for 4U of rack space on each side. Please note that rack rails are supposed to be installed and to be installed inside equipment slots. This model is intended for cutting reference only. The method of assembly is up to the builder. Because the center screen desk section is not supported by the table itself (unless you build a custom table, which would remove the cable space intended), a support beam is required across the back of the screen desk. I recommend using a 47 × 100 mm beam, which will eliminate concerns about sagging or wobble. I recommend building this as a three-part assembly: two rack side units one center screen desk unit This makes the structure easier to move. Once positioned, the parts can be securely fastened together by driving screws from inside the rack/equipment area into the screen desk section.
